3 Questions to Help Realign our Lives

Welcome to Another Big 3!

In today's edition, we are veering from the regular format, exceptionally, as we are experiencing exceptional times. To my U.S. readers, hang in there.

The outside noise is real and loud, but let's pause and check on ourselves and our lives.

Let's explore the 3 simple questions I ask myself to re-align my life with my aspirations.

Here we go.

Q1.

What area(s) of your life needs improvement?

The fact that my birthday falls at the end of the year may be why I always reflect a lot around this time. What went well, what did not, what is still an issue, and why?

I face whatever comes with as much self-compassion as possible (tough one) and seek solutions. I invite you to do the same.

Look at your life with the eyes of a caring and loving best friend.
1 - Ask yourself what needs improvement.
2 - Write down the answers and face them.
3 - Don't judge yourself for where things are.

Some of us won't even need to go through all these steps because we already know what needs our attention.

Move gently, to the next question.

Q2.

Which behaviours are keeping this issue alive?

This is where you come clean and address the ugly truth. Facing the habits that keep you from making positive changes is a powerful way to become more intentional and break from the gravitational pull of the familiar.

You can't fix what you won't face, so you might as well come clean. Again, no judging but, fully acknowledging where you come short.

Keep moving gently to the next question.

Q3.

Who can help you handle it?

I remember dreading tax season because I didn't know how to handle it. Things became even more complicated once I started a business.

It took me an excruciating, costly and long time to realize I didn't have to do this alone. Once I accepted I needed help, I sought experts and felt RELIEVED when it was finally handled. Do the same.

1 - Make a list of experts who can help you.
2 - Search candidates online, and ask your network for referrals.
3 - Narrow your list based on your needs, and start reaching out.

My motto now: Find your Olivia Pope. Find your Peace.

We will return to the regular Big 3 format next week. For now, I send you love and positive momentum.

Thank you for reading.

Until next week,
Stay Consistent.
