A New Chapter + A Challenge For You

Hi Friends!

For the past 47 weeks, I’ve been showing up in your inbox with The Big 3—sharing a lesson, a book, and a strategy to help you move boldly forward. But today marks a shift.

I’m excited to introduce The Corageus—the evolution of this newsletter and the foundation of something bigger. Corageus comes from the old French word that eventually became courageous, and that’s exactly what this space is about: stepping forward with heart, even when the path is uncertain.

Read on.

The Lesson: Not Everyone Will Get It—And That's Okay

I’ve always been incredibly driven. I set big goals, push myself, and move boldly toward what I want.

But I’d be lying if I said I never felt the urge to shrink when faced with contrarian opinions—especially from people close to me. Sometimes, it feels easier to downplay ambition rather than explain it. But is that okay?

If you’ve ever felt this tension, you’re not alone. It’s natural to want to be understood. But I’ve learned that the goal isn’t just to find people who match your level of drive—it’s to surround yourself with those who support you, even if they don’t fully relate.

True support doesn’t mean agreement; it means respect. The right people won’t always get it—but they will always have your back. And that matters more. Remember the difference.

The Book: The Obstacle Is the Way by Ryan Holiday

This book is a powerful guide to turning challenges into opportunities. Here are three key insights that stood out to me:

Perception Shapes Reality – If you see obstacles as barriers, they will stop you. If you see them as steppingstones, they will move you forward.

Action Overcomes Fear – Fear thrives in inaction. Read that again. Progress isn’t about knowing every step, but about moving forward anyway.

Resilience Is a Choice – Life will test you. You can let adversity break you or use it to strengthen your resolve.

The Obstacle is The Way feels especially relevant as I build The Corageus. There will be obstacles, but instead of resisting them, I’m choosing to see them as part of the process.

The Challenge: Join Me in a 3-Day Distraction Fast

We all have that one thing that quietly steals our time—mindless social media scrolling, late-night online shopping, endless phone calls. It feels small in the moment, but over time, it adds up, pulling us away from what truly matters.

Over the next three days, I invite you to join me in a distraction fast. Choose one major time-draining habit and cut it out completely. Use that reclaimed time to focus on something that fuels you—reading, journaling, working on a project, or simply resting.

This isn’t about restriction; it’s about intention. Three days to reset, refocus, and see what shifts. Are you in? Let me know what you’re cutting out!

Boldly Forward

This new chapter, The Corageus, is about leaning into courage—redefining what’s possible, challenging ourselves, and showing up fully. I’m grateful you’re here, and I can’t wait to grow alongside you.

Let me know what resonated with you in this edition. DM me—I always love hearing from you.

Until next time,
