Speed is the Name of the Game🏃🏾‍♀️

Happy Big 3 Wednesday!

Speed it up!

Each Big 3 is a chance to flex my speed of execution and consistency muscles, and I love it.

So thank you, for reading and supporting the movement. I mean it.

News Alert: I am launching something new on Wednesday, July 31st. Are you ready to get results that match your vision and ambition? Say no more and stay tuned!

Enjoy!

The Lesson 💡

Success Requires Closing the Gap

Do you take a long time to move from idea to execution, often getting stuck in overthinking? I used to be the same. Many people struggle with this. Top performers don't.

“People fear moving too fast when they should really fear moving too slow.” - Dr. Julie Gurner

I've learned the importance of closing this gap over the years and recently read an article by Dr. Julie Gurner - a performance coach for ultra-successful individuals - that drove this home.

I launched this newsletter within 3 days of coming up with the idea, a big change from my previous approach (which I'm still working on).

The key to closing the gap is speed. Note, that acting fast isn't rushing. Acting fast is about executing with a plan while rushing is not.

Today, choose one thing from your goal list and commit to closing the gap, one step at a time.

The Book 📕

The Greatest Salesman in the World, by OG Mandino

Don't let the title throw you off. This small (110 pages) but mighty book is about more than just sales. It changed how I approach life's many opportunities and setbacks.

Mandino's main message is that successful people take on their lives by consciously choosing the desired destination or chief aim, and the path to reach it. I wish the same for you.

Here are three inspiring quotes from The Greatest Salesman in the World:

  • “I will live this day as if it is my last.”

  • “I will multiply my value a hundredfold.”

  • “My dreams are worthless, my plans are dust; my goals are impossible. All are of no value unless they are followed by action.”

The Strategy 🎯

Power Down for a Better Night Sleep

In our over-stimulated world, scrolling through social media or online shopping before bed feels more natural than counting sheep. But that blue light messes with our sleep (guilty here)!

What if you tried a tech-free buffer before bed?

Tonight, challenge yourself to ditch the phone at least an hour before bedtime - leaving it outside the bedroom does the trick for me. You might be surprised at how much easier it is to fall asleep and wake up feeling refreshed. (Bonus if you already do).

Here's to rejuvenating sleep that reduces stress and improves our health.

Thank you for reading.

Until next week,

Be Consistent.
